Congratulations Badwater Runners!

The Badwater Ultra 135 miler is officially over, although a few runners will be pushing on to the top of Mt. Whitney or beyond. Marshall Ulrich and Lisa Smith-Batchen, both from Colorado, have decided to put a few extra miles in their shoes for the Religious Teachers Filippini and MPD Foundation, respectively.

Badwater Begins!

Today marks the official start of the 2007 Kiehls Badwater ultramarathon. 90 athletes -runners, triathletes, adventure racers and mountaineers from around the globe began launching into the 135 mile race from Death Valley (280′ below sea level) to Mt. Whitney Portal (8360′).
